Compile unique file

Hi,

 I'm compiling an unique busybox file using gcc, however I'm getting some
problems while trying to. I'm using the following command on MacOS:

gcc -ferror-limit=0 -Iinclude /shell/ash.c

gcc output example:

shell/ash.c:6187:21: error: expected expression

        IF_ASH_BASH_COMPAT(const char *repl = NULL;)


Is there any way this is possible?
