Failed to add a script at shutdown

Does it only fail the write to your file our does it not execute the
shutdown script. Try adding an echo to console and see if output
appears on shutdown. May be a 'sleep 3' in your script after echo helps
to show the message.

I do not use Busybox init, neither I use the init at all. I can only
look in source code.
