Using less in environment without controlling tty

You are pushing the discussion in a completely wrong direction.
I do not want to discuss the type of input used within less. My
complain is, Busybox less uses /dev/tty without possibility to
overwrite or reassign this in any way.

... and this is, what I want, the possibility to use a different
tty for message view than the controlling tty. Everything else
may stay as it is.
