Just a few lines to tell tell everyone that Bob's hint not onlysobed the blacklist problem but also the other thing ('/sbin/modprobe -v
usb:v4586p1026d0050dc00dsc00dp00ic08isc06ip50' not working properly)

Previously I had the small modprobe option set while now here's my modprobe section:

# Linux Module Utilities
#
CONFIG_MODINFO=y
# CONFIG_MODPROBE_SMALL is not set
# CONFIG_FEATURE_MODPROBE_SMALL_OPTIONS_ON_CMDLINE is not set
# CONFIG_FEATURE_MODPROBE_SMALL_CHECK_ALREADY_LOADED is not set
CONFIG_INSMOD=y
CONFIG_RMMOD=y
CONFIG_LSMOD=y
# CONFIG_FEATURE_LSMOD_PRETTY_2_6_OUTPUT is not set
CONFIG_MODPROBE=y
CONFIG_FEATURE_MODPROBE_BLACKLIST=y
CONFIG_DEPMOD=y

I reverted back to the default rules ;-)

Thanks Bob
David
