I have compiled latest busybox a couple of days ago. During configure
I noticed that ftpd is available as an applet.

I am building a firmware for a device in which the official firmware
by the manufacturer of the device does not contain any ftp daemon. I
have eventually chosen for bftpd. To me it looks less complex than
proftpd and I don't have any security requirements.
