OK , that's pretty much what I do usually but I thought I may get 
shouted at for refering to vixiecron doc and complaining about BB.

The current doc does document the restricted feature set by omitting the 
options not supported. That seems fine but maybe where there are 
differences of behaviour this should be noted somewhere (unless the 
differences are bugs ;) )

Fine. I thought this was intended to be a feature. Making it match the 
standard tool would be a much better solution since the overhead is minimal.
