Patch is being held due to size limits

Hi.

More or less 24 hours ago I sent to this mailing list a patch that ended
up passing the 40kb limit, and now it's being held until moderator approval.
I'm not getting any answers from that, so I'm just mentioning it here in
case the list is flooded with spam or it otherwise might not be looked at.

I already got more stuff queued up for sending, and it might even be a
good idea to resend a complete diff, if it might facilitate review.
