Define "integrated".  Is this "copy an external project into a subdirectory of 
our source and pretend that doesn't make us bigger", or "you can set CFLAGS to 
add -llib".

Putting anything with a "gnu" prefix directly in contact with busybox is one of 
them pasta/antipasto things.  At the very least there's a rash and swelling.
