Anybody want to fix ash's backspace line wrap?

Not surprised, that's some mighty ugly territory.

No, because 1) backspaces don't count as all that exceptional,
and 2) there are things such as ^A/^B.  The full functionality
of ^L can't be done without also solving the BS-BOL problem,
which is why we're here in the first place.
