Booting linux in a board sam9_l9260 from olimex

I downloaded the firmware-0.9.0 and build the cross-compiler, after 
then, compiled the busybox with this cross-compiler, but the executable 
generated is for cpu arm and not for linux on an arm cpu.

$ file busybox
busybox: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, ARM, version 1, statically linked, 
stripped

What did I do wrong?
