Unable to login to the shell

Hi all,

I am using buildroot for an arm board. 

The issue I am facing is that I am not able to get the shell prompt. It keeps on respawning the getty when I try to login.

I dont have bash in my build. Any other issue leading to this?
The name of my serial is ttySAC0. Could this cause an issue anywhere on busybox? I have modified the inittab with
ttySAC0::respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttySAC0 115200 vt100

Should I make changes anywhere else?
