I can't confirm this. On my system it doesn't matter to what reasonable
size I set this option. I also tried setting it to 8192 and it still
worked.

Sorry, no "luck" here in trying to reproduce this.

BTW: While I was looking at the configuration variables: Shouldn't it be
CONFIG_FEATURE_VI_ALLOW_EXEC instead of CONFIG_FEATURE_ALLOW_EXEC?
