mdev patches

Hi Mike, Souf,

I put all recent mdev-related mails in this file:

http://busybox.net/~vda/mdev

(it's in mbox format).

I'm afraid I am unable to form an opinion on them since
I don't use mdev at all.

Apparently we have several patches in this area and someone
needs to provide unified patch. I think Mike can then look at it
and apply it to svn if patch is good enough.
