tftp timeouts in 1.4.1

mipsel ohio, kernel 2.6.13.1, busybox 1.4.1

$ tftp -p -l /tmp/myfile-xxxxxxxx -r myfile-xxxxxxxx 192.168.x.y
tftp: timeout
tftp: timeout
tftp: timeout

The tftpd (from WinXP Pro disk, running as a service) creates
'myfile-xxxxxxxx' in the specified transfer directory, but the file
contents do not arrive on the target system.

strace log is attached.
