"ls -l" Segmentation fault

It is a very small environment and I don't have a lot of stuff in the 
system.
But I think it must be a string boundary issue or something really 
small, because when I do "ls" or ls -1, it is not bombing.

I don't have ti time to look at the applet right now, but I may try next 
week. Though I think the owner should take a look at it...
