If you could flesh out the test suite, that would be marvelous.  Either 1.2.2 
or current svn, the test suite hasn't changed much between them.

We're trying to be SUSv3 compliant (minus the internationalization stuff), and 
you can read the relevant bits of SUSv3 online at 
http://www.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/009695399/idx/utilities.html
if you can't think of anything better to test...

Yeah, new applets are likely.  You'd have to ask Denis about that, though.
