Very good points. I should have remarked that I use this in a large
enterprise with a very tightly administered DHCP environment, in
which very strict constraints apply. What I like about it is, if I
ever find myself in an environment where it doesn't work, once I
figure out why, it's so very simple that I can tweak it to live with
the local weirdness pretty easily.
