On a side note, the mailman archive is created after the messages are sent 
out.  You can more or less consider the archive to be a subscriber to the 
list.  So there's no URL to attach to messages at the time the messages are 
sent, because it doesn't exist yet.

It's a solvable problem, but not a trivial fix.
