I'm interested in building under specific tools, not under abstract arguments.

For example, if you wanted to try to compile busybox with tcc, and this 
resulted in build breaks or patches to fix them, I'd be interested in looking 
at that.  I'm not very interested in discussing it in the abstract.

If you want us to build under a posix make, go find a posix make to test 
against.  But keep in mind we must _also_ build under the existing crappy 
variants of gnu make, and that there are fairly complicated things we want to 
get it to do...
