Drop it.  If you want me to start maintaining my own tree that nobody else has 
commit priviledges to, this is the way to go about it.

I've already asked you to take a larger role committing other people's 
patches.  You declined.  You could have trivially fixed up the commit, or 
reverted it until it was fixed, while I was out of town for the weekend.  You 
didn't do that.

The word "profoundly" in the above sentence was uncalled for, and it made me 
angry.  Just FYI.
