Why did you delete the setting of bb_applet_name?  What's verror_msg.c 
supposed to use then?

I applied the applets.h part.  (Well, the patch rejected the big 
multi-hundred-line hunk, so I did an s/_main// on the APPLET macros and made 
sure it still built.  I assume I didn't miss anything by doing that?)
