You can use base64-decode to decode the byte-for-byte perfect patch. I
don't entirely agree with Gmail's decision to base64 encode all email,
but at least it guarantees byte-for-byte perfect delivery regardless
of any wacky mail transport agent or mail user agent. I prefer inline
patches over attachments because they're generally more searchable.
