Init hanging

Hi Vadi,

I'll bet that you have used the buildroot utility to build your rootfile 
system, linked your NFS to that directory and are trying to boot 
directly from that root directory...

Buildroot is using fakeroot to make the device nodes (files in /dev/), 
but they are really seen as ordinary files.

Run makedevs as root (in the proper directory) will solve that problem.
