exporting functions in ash

There's nothing in the manual for ash that suggests it supports 
exporting functions. Indeed, in the manual for "sh", which is what I 
would consider the reference here, it's stated that "You cannot export 
function names."

So maybe you should try to think outside the box?
Is exporting functions really necessary in your script?
