There's already a fix for this in current svn.

Yes, it was at the time that modprobe required a shell to launch insmod. Now it
does not. Plus, there is code in insmod to specifically ignore -s now.

I thought it was already closed. Yes, it should be closed. I can't reproduce it
here.

Yes, 1.0 exhibits the problem, 1.1.0-pre1 also has the problem. Try current svn.
