Glad to know it does work. I do have /proc mounted

# cat /proc/mounts
rootfs / rootfs rw 0 0
/dev/root / ext2 rw 0 0
proc /proc proc rw,nodiratime 0 0
#

Any other suggestions ? If it helps I built the system using Buildroot
obtained via svn
