ah.  but, as i read that list of options, it's the
"--dont-break-procedure-type" that i object to, for precisely the
reason i mentioned earlier.

and, certainly, the current code is a mixture of those two styles, so
it's clear that those indentation rules aren't being applied at the
moment.
