Actually I've gone by the login handle "landley" online for years, and don't 
mind that.  (There are two others I'm aware of on the planet: my father and 
brother.  The name was made up by a german immigrant named Landecker who 
immigrated to the US during world war I and decided to make up something that 
didn't sound so german, and I am a proud bearer of this tradition.)
