Nobody stepped up to do it, and I have _way_ too many things on my plate right 
now to grab another to-do item myself just now.

Right now, for me, merging the RPM update is a higher priority, and then 
coming up to speed on/untangling the archiver code (including taking 
advantage of Glenn's presence to ask questions about it) is probably next.  
Then making the deb stuff share a repository with the RPM code (autodetect 
the type based on what directory they're in, or what extension, or something) 
is next, and _then_ I'll worry about ipkg (since to do it right, it'll need 
to use the archiver code and it'll need to share a repository with rpm and 
deb).

P.S.  We could use cpio and ar create code.
