just to summarize the semantics of the "ip"-related stuff, the menu
will allow you to select which of the "ip" subcommands you want to
support:

  [*] ip
	[*] ip address
	[ ] ip link
	[*] ip route
	[ ] ip tunnel

whichever ones you select, you'll *automatically* get the short forms
of those commands installed (ipaddr, iplink, etc.) which you can use
or not as you see fit.

you *don't* get to select those short forms independently -- they only
come when you pick their "ip" equivalents.  was that the consensus?
