busybox: ping by name

Hi All,

I have a question about the busybox: I installed busybox client udhcpc on my
machine, it can get ip address from our dhcp server and talk to the outside
using ip address without any problem. and I can also ping my machine using the
name from outside. however, I could not ping anywhere from my machine using name. my question is: what do I need in order to ping by using name ?
