[BusyBox] file handling

Hello everybody,
    I am using the TI's OMAP Innovator Platform, with open source Linux
kernel 2.4.19-rmk7-omap1 running on it. Also using the busybox filesystem
mounted onto the platform through NFS. I was just writing a simple
program for file handling on my platform. But it gave a SIGSEGV interrupt.
printf(); function works properly.
    Newbie here. Any help in this regard would be usefull.
