[BusyBox] mke2fs seems broken - false alarm

even when its normaly not needed, if its not working for larger
partitions it may point to an other problem that need fixing.
and even ebedded systems have today large drive e.g. for data storage,
e.g. even for our system you can add a memorystick (1GB) and them ?
