[BusyBox] build root failures for gdb-5.3

Hello,

I just tried out the build root for the first time and I must say its
pretty slick.

What is currently out there does hiccup and fails to build the gdb-5.3
client.  It sort of seems like GCC3.4.x problems.  There were a couple
errors around SELECT defines, and a simple one for a label needing a ;
now.  It ended with a linker error which I probably won't try and find.
