[PATCH] vlock size reduction

Hi,
I know that we are in feature freeze, but after fixing the bug in vlock
i started hacking on it......
The size reduction is (with shadow passwd):
  text    data     bss     dec     hex filename
   1366       0     104    1470     5be vlock.o.orig
     787       0     104       891     37b vlock.o

The patch is tested and seems to work as expected..
Please apply it or queue it for 1.2.
