Hi Mike,
please revert this fix as it fixes nothing and is wrong.

Take a look at the man page:

DEVFSD(8)                                                            DEVFSD(8)

NAME
       devfsd  - optional daemon for managing devfs (the Linux Device Filesys-
       tem)

SYNOPSIS
       devfsd mntpnt [ -v ] [ -d ] [ -t num ] [ -D mask ] [ -fg ] [ -np ]

With this fix applied you would get this as usage message:

Usage: devfsd devfsd [-v]
 
this makes not much sense and is obviously wrong.

The change from "optional" to "obsolete" is just a matter of taste
but surely not a  fix.
