[BusyBox] bb-rdate causes segfaults in other progs

Hello,

the busybox rdate causes other (not bb) programs to segfault.

I do
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
root at node-16:~> /busybox/rdate 192.168.1.254
Tue Nov  9 11:25:57 2004
root at node-16:~> ps auxwf
USER       PID %CPU %MEM   VSZ  RSS TTY      STAT START   TIME COMMAND


Signal 11 (SEGV) caught by ps (procps version 3.2.0).

busybox is static/32bit and after the rdate cmd not only "ps u" segfault,
also ntpd, ypbind, reboot, python and many other I suspect not
need or tried yet. Al these programms are standard FC2/64 binanries.

Does someone have I idea what is there failing?
