I'm this close -><- to doing a major rwrite on init/init.c...

If you put a comment after an inittab line, it barfs, looking for all those 
spaces and the # as part of the name.

The easy fix is to add " \t#" to the list of characters that cause it to 
filter the sucker through the shell...
