and there are other hits for "cryptpw" out there.

It looks pretty easy to change -a to -H and add the -S (salt) option so
I agree. I'll change it and will be back with (yet another) patch.

(Altho -a is the option used by busybox passwd to set algorithm, 
which is why I used it)
