[BusyBox] ftp: ftp/tcp : unkown service

Hi, after I build my system with busybox, I want to add ftp.  So I build ftp
from netkit-ftp-0.17.tar.gz.  But when I run ftp, I get the ftp: ftp/tcp:
unknown service error.  My /etc/services is there and it has a entry for
ftp, so I don't know what else I might do wrong.  Thanks.
