[BusyBox] passwd seg fault SOLVED

Interestingly, the solution to this seg fault was related to the toolchain.

Not only was my passwd seg fault fixed (without using Ronny Nilsson's 
patch, but thanks anyway), but several other problems I had building 
other programs were also eliminated by including the glibc-crypt 
add-on (glibc 2.1.3). Rebuilt the toolchain, and all issues were 
resolved. Go figure. Hopefully this is useful information to someone.
