I'm new to the list, so hello to all! :o)

Can anyone give me a hint what's going wrong with the linker (0.60.5,
DOSTATIC=true)?

chgrp.o chmod.o chown.o chroot.o chvt.o clear.o cmdedit.o cp.o cut.o da
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lc
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
