Hello,

even after check carefully and apply both patches from Vladimir and
Larry, I always get the subject message. So here is my configuration:

Kernel 2.4.18 RH73 without modules for floppy boot
Busybox 0.60.5 (also tested with 0.60.4)
I *don't use* init
I *use* linuxrc
I *don't* want to connect console to ttyS but to tty to have Ctrl-C
activate.

Value of my mknod

crw--w--w- 1 root tty 5, 1 jan 9 15:28 console
brw-rw-r-- 1 root root 2, 0 nov 6 23:53 fd0
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 1, 3 nov 6 23:54 null
brw-r----- 1 root root 1, 1 nov 6 23:54 ram
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 5, 0 nov 6 23:54 tty
crw--w--w- 1 root tty 4, 0 nov 6 23:54 tty0
crw--w--w- 1 root tty 4, 1 jan 9 17:47 tty1
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 1, 5 nov 6 23:55 zero

In my bootparam I added console=tty0 (tested also with console=tty1) and
in my linuxrc I put variable CONSOLE=tty0 or tty1 accorded to my
bootparam. Doesn't help.

Welcome to any idea
