[BusyBox] problems with login after upgrade from 1.00-pre3 to 1.00-pre4

Hi!

After an upgrade from 1.00-pre3 to 1.00-pre4 I can not login
anymore. In /etc/inittab I have this (either one of the lines
commented out):

## a plain shell without authorization
#sh:3:respawn:/bin/sh
# plain login
#sh:3:respawn:/bin/login
# with getty (much nicer :-)
sh:3:respawn:/sbin/getty -L 115200 ttyS0


Now I've tried to enable the first line to get a shell right away.
Then I tried running login from the command line:

With 1.00-pre4:
~ # login
AxisProduct login: root
Password:
Segmentation fault

With 1.00-pre3:
~ # login
AxisProduct login: root
Password:
Dec 11 21:05:19 AxisProduct login[366]: root login  on `ttyS0'
-sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
[root at AxisProduct /]366#

I haven't checked what has changed between 1.00-pre3 and 1.00-pre4
in regards to the login and password functionality but it looks like
there's something broken now.
