BusyBox v0.60.3-pre (2002.04.08-15:16+0000) Built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

# uname -a
Linux (none) 2.4.18-2um #2 Fri Mar 1 10:28:02 EST 2002 i686 unknown

This is User Mode Linux.

If I add an /etc/inittab identical to the one in :
http://www.busybox.net/downloads/BusyBox.html ,

the error messages go away. Is the documentation in sync with the
current code?

Thank you for great software.

Dag B
