Hello Masters of the Computer World

I am new to busybox ,
I downloaded the tar format of busybox as well as Uclib,
I am unable to extract the Uclib on my readhat 7.1 -----any clue?
Extracted and installed busybox.
When i create bootable floppy with the complied kernel of Redhat 7.1
the floppy boots and hangs at the following error
freeing memory 224k
Kernel panic : no init found. pass init= option to Kernel

I didn't build my own rootfs , i am using the default rootfs build by
the scripts file.

Guidance from you experts is required.
right now i have started studying this embedded linux subject.
You may find some of my questions are very basic once.
