[BusyBox] which shell for scriptin

FWIW I found msh in 0.52 to handle a lot of scripts without difficulty, and
as you noticed, ash had some problems.

When I was looking into it about 2 weeks ago I found that cvs ash worked
without problems as well, so upgrading might help.
