[BusyBox] cvs access or not in my case :(

hi all,

i'm stuck behind a university firewall and can't do a cvs access, so i
thought for a laugh i might try getting a free shell to which i can connect
via a few tricks.  I now have a shell at nether.net. I made a directory,
cvs,  in my home dir and tried the following :


bash-2.03$ export CVSROOT=/users4/a/d/adavey/cvs
bash-2.03$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at busybox.net:/var/cvs login
(Logging in to anonymous at busybox.net)
CVS password:                    //typed anonymous here
cvs [login aborted]: authorization failed: server busybox.net
rejected
access
bash-2.03$

tried many time but no luck :(
can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong please.
