[BusyBox] CML2 configuration for BusyBox

I would like to get busybox easily compilable under the Hurd, currently
to get it to compile under the Hurd i have to manualy modify the
Makefile so libbb compiles with some files excluded.

Would CML be suitable for supporting non-linux OS's, i.e. would it be
hard to get it to modify the Makefile based on the OS, or is that stuff
more suitable to a ./configure script ?
