[BusyBox] mount -o loop on kernel-2.4.2

Hello,

I am having problem mounting loop devices with busybox-0.50.
Not sure if I did something wrong. I built the kernel with
an incomplete system (many binaries are replaced with busybox).
I also tried precompiled kernel-2.4.1 and busybox-0.48:
  busybox  kernel  observation
  0.48     2.2.16  works fine
  0.48     2.4.1   mount successfully, system won't shutdown (umount ?)
  0.50     2.2.16  works fine
  0.50     2.4.1   busybox exit silently without mounting
  0.50     2.4.2   busybox won't exit, can't kill either, waiting for device
Has anybody been using busybox-0.50 on kernel-2.4.2?
